Quinta de Azevedo is a Minho mansion characteristic of the Renaissance, located at the foot of the slope of Monte do Facho.

In 1980, Sogrape acquired the Honor of Azevedo, located in the parish of Lama, Barcelos, one of the oldest and most magnificent Portuguese manors, dating back to the 11th century.  The Manor and the Quinta benefited for around four years from detailed restoration, requalification and decoration works at the same time as vineyards were planted. At the time, Fernando Guedes guided the planting of vineyards, as well as the installation of a modern winemaking center, with excellent conditions to produce increasingly fresh and elegant Vinhos Verdes, thus corresponding to the dominant taste of consumers. Currently, Alvarinho and Loureiro are the grape varieties planted, occupying more than 30 hectares.
