The Távora Agricultural Cooperative CRL is located in the Demarcated Region of "Távora - Varosa", nestled between the Douro and Dão regions.
Thanks to its unique conditions – granite and primary soils with low limestone content, high altitudes, and a temperate continental climate, among others – this area is a privileged location for the production of both apples and wine. The climate/soil combination makes this region the most suitable, at a national level, for apple production, with the much-appreciated "Bravo de Esmolfe" variety standing out.
As for white wines, their natural acidity, intense aroma, and bright, fresh citrus character make them truly remarkable, allowing us to affirm that this is, par excellence, the region where white wine finds the unique conditions to reach the highest level of quality. Likewise, red wines draw delicacy from their aromas and nobility from their body, achieving a notable flavour over time.
