Quinta dos Currais, Sociedade Agrícola Lda., located in Cova da Beira between the Gardunha and Estrela mountains, was founded in 1996 with the goal of producing high-quality wines from traditional Beira Interior grape varieties. The estate spans 130 hectares, including 30 hectares of vineyards, alongside forest and olive groves. The third-generation winegrowing family planted white varieties such as Arinto, Síria, and Fonte-Cal, and red varieties such as Castelão, Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Jaen, and Rufete. With a state-of-the-art winery that combines tradition and innovation, Quinta dos Currais has gained national and international recognition, establishing itself as a benchmark for the region.
