Born in Norway, Ole Martin Siem has always been connected to the production and trade of horticultural products, which led him to travel extensively around the world. When he arrived in Portugal in 1986, he recognized in Brejão, near Zambujeira do Mar, the ideal soil and climate conditions he had been seeking to develop his agricultural projects. Later, fascinated by elegant and fresh wines and already in love with the stunning landscapes of the Costa Vicentina, he decided in 2007 to plant his first vineyards in this region — a place with little relevance in the Portuguese wine scene at the time — breaking with the belief that it would not be possible to produce quality wines there.
