Sourced from an old low-yield vineyard, this wine is made exclusively from indigenous Douro grape varieties: Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz. Traditional foot treading in granite lagares, followed by malolactic fermentation and 17 months ageing in new French oak barrels, result in a wine of great structure, elegance, and ageing potential.
Complex and expressive, it shows balsamic hints, ripe black fruits, cocoa and spice notes. A refined and deep Douro red.
